Singapore Day One

So the perfect holiday weekend: Friday off, swine flu has just hit, crowds begone! I got to Singapore around lunchtime,which is perfect. The only problem is where to eat...Malay? Chinese? Indian? yummy yum yum. The initial mall panic settles down once I find some actual neighborhoods. By 4pm, when the call to prayer starts and time seems to stand still, it is the loveliest place in the world.
