Happy in Happy Valley!

Of course, the racetrack is the Central point of interest, but the area has a nice, quiet, village feel, especially on the weekends, when the track is used for joggers, soccer players and people practicing Tai Chi. Every other person has a dog...some surprising, like my neighbor with a St. Bernard. It's less crowded than the rest of Hong Kong, partially because you can only get here by bus or trolley...or by walking.
